Eric Langham
Eric Langham is a cultural heritage consultant with a proven global track record. He specializes in project visioning, interpretation, strategic planning and curation. He currently manages Barker Langham’s Middle East portfolio where he is engaged on some of the world’s most iconic heritage projects. Eric has created world-class exhibitions and interpretive strategies. These include Making History at the Royal Academy with guest curator David Starkey; Wilfred Thesiger and the Freedom of the Desert at Jahili Fort in the UAE; the permanent galleries at the V&A Museum of Childhood; plus interpretive plans for the National Trust, the National Army Museum and Rochester Cathedral. Eric is an expert advisor and mentor to the Heritage Lottery Fund. He is the former head of exhibitions at the Commonwealth Institute, London (1999-2002). Prior to this he was the curator at the Galleries of Justice, Nottingham. Eric is also an Associate of the Museums Association (AMA), an AMA mentor and reviewer. He studied Archaeology and Classics at the University of Nottingham and went on to complete an MA in Archaeological Practice at the University of Birmingham.
