Thomas Aplin BA MA

Arabic Specialist

Thomas graduated from the University of Exeter in 2006 with a first-class honours degree in Arabic and went on to complete his Masters in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Edinburgh where he is currently a PhD candidate. His main research interest is contemporary literature of the Gulf region, particularly the novel.

Thomas also works as a literary translator and publishes regularly in Banipal Magazine.
