In the run up to Christmas the Stage II bid for Victoria Park Heritage Lottery Funding was submitted…by Queen Victoria herself. Recreating a tour of the Park taken by the monarch in 1873, a horse drawn carriage provided a fitting send off for the completed plans. We await the outcome of the HLF assessment, due in June 2010.
